MEET THE 2022 LOCAL PATHWAYS FELLOWS

The fifth cohort of the Local Pathways Fellowship is bringing together a network of 101 young thought leaders, urban planners, sustainability advocates, researchers and innovators from 80 cities across the world to advance local dialogue, collaboration and problem solving around the Sustainable Development Goals and to make cities and urban settlements “smart, fair and sustainable”.

Aashraya Seth

Founder, The Intelligent Indian and Menstrual Hygiene Friendly Spaces

Aashraya is an award-winning social innovator and founder of projects like STEMinism in India, Alvida Patriarchy, Menstrual Hygiene Friendly Spaces among others, most of which acts as a case study for MENA and ASEM countries. He has led several development projects of the British, Indian, and Australian governments and was recently placed amongst the top-80 social innovators in India and top-50 emerging policy leaders in the world.

Abubakarr Ibrahim Ndopaie

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Conservation Society of Sierra Leone

Abubakarr Ibrahim Ndopaie is a Sierra Leonean, M&E Officer (Conservation Society of Sierra Leone), a conservationist and an advocate for clean, safe and resilient cities and climate change in Kenema. He obtained a Bachelor degree in Sociology, and upon graduation he involved in several volunteering and advocacy, which targeted urban waste management and solution to alleviate the impacts of climate change to enhanced environmental sustainability.
