First Local Pathways Mentorship Program Officially Started

Two months ago, Local Pathways announced the launch of its first mentorship program to support current fellows in project development. And today, we are happy to announce the official start of the program!

One hundred three current fellows were matched with 53 mentors based on a similar SDG 11 target or location. The mentors will guide their mentees through the fellowship cycle and help them in the project development process. Mentors network represents three cohorts of the Local Pathways graduates: 2018, 2019, and 2020.

All mentors know what it’s like to be a fellow with LPF as they’ve been there themselves--and that is the most important asset. They can share their valuable experience and knowledge with the current fellows, contribute to their project and keep advocating SDG 11 with SDSN Youth. And most importantly, inspire the next generation of young urban leaders for a change.

We take this opportunity to share a few recommendations to our future urban changers from their mentors. Look for more on social media following #LPFmentor.
